Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide exceptional care for our residents with professionalism and empathy.
As an LPN, you will operate under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will be both qualified and compassionate, demonstrating a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients' medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patients' progress and identify any side effects from treatments
- Track patients' conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain patient charts
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and perform basic medical tasks like wound care
- Collect laboratory samples as directed
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Communicate effectively with patients' families to offer guidance and reassurance
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar healthcare role
- Ability to perform a variety of care tasks and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a medical setting
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and nursing best practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and data entry
- Strong physical stamina and overall health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate demeanor and capability to manage stress
- Successful completion of an accredited LPN program is essential
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Compensation: $27.19 per hour
