About this Role
As a Quanta Services apprentice lineworker, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power distribution systems. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical theory, safety protocols, and hands-on skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of primary and secondary power lines, including energized work and live line operations.
- Learn and apply electrical distribution principles, including transformer connections, conductor transfers, and primary clipping.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment, such as wire stringing gear and phasing sticks.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills in areas like advanced rigging, overhead distribution systems, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with experienced lineworkers and foremen to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
