POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time Associate Degree Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education. This role involves not only teaching but also engaging in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing instructional methods and student success rates. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver engaging instruction in Associate Degree Nursing courses, adhering to established curriculum guidelines.
2. Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge in nursing education and practices.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program offerings and support student learning.
4. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth.
5. Engage in program evaluation and accreditation processes to ensure compliance with educational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. A Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a Master's in a related field.
2. A valid California RN license and recent direct patient care experience.
3. Previous teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.
