Speech-Language Therapist Position

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at Home of Guiding Hands, you will have the opportunity to work with young children between 0-3 years old who may have developmental delays. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating children's speech, language, and/or swallowing difficulties, completing intake paperwork, assessments, reports, and treatment plans, and conducting home visits with assigned families to carry out treatment plans and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
About the RoleThis position offers flexible schedules, reimbursement for CEUs and licensing fees, mileage reimbursements, paid sick and vacation time, medical/dental benefits, and 403b retirement plans. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current license from the State of California Speech-Language Pathology Board
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an educational program accredited by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Minimum one (1) year SLP experience. Minimum one (1) year pediatrics experience (birth to 5 years of age)
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
- Must receive criminal record clearance from DOJ
- Must have valid California Driver's license, safe driving record, and have been licensed to drive at least 2 years
- Must maintain current and adequate auto insurance
- Must obtain CPR/FA certification if not already certified (we offer training for new hires)
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
