Position Overview
Schneider Electric presents a significant opportunity for a Finance IT & Process Analyst, ideally suited for our dynamic teams. This role is pivotal in enhancing our Finance business processes while ensuring robust internal controls and effective user responsibility management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a vital member of the SPD Finance team, focusing on the identification, design, and enhancement of Finance business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with various finance teams to develop, refine, and document business processes and functional requirements that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Engage in the design and implementation of systems and applications that are essential for optimizing Schneider Electric's Finance tools and processes.
  • Work in partnership with finance colleagues and IT professionals to ascertain user requirements and recommend application solutions, ensuring timely delivery of applications.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team by collaborating with key stakeholders and adapting to changing business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design and implement process enhancements and systems that support global Finance sub-processes and associated transactional flows.
  • Work with sub-process owners to create and maintain essential data structures and flows.
  • Provide insights on technical accounting issues as a global subject-matter expert.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Regional finance teams on technical accounting matters.
  • Address and resolve business process and application configuration challenges.
  • Facilitate cross-functional process improvements as necessary.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives led by the Group.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation as required.
  • Manage a variety of tasks effectively, transitioning smoothly between different responsibilities as business demands evolve.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in ERP Software (e.g., Oracle, SAP), Reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau), and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of core end-to-end business processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in Processes & Systems functions, with a focus on redesign and optimization.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including office software, Business Intelligence, ERP, and process workflow tools.
Skills & Abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
  • A mindset geared towards process improvement and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • At least 8 years of extensive experience in Processes & Systems functions, with a focus on redesign and optimization.
