**Job Summary**
North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Women's Care Clinic setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Transport lab-related supplies, equipment, and specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Comply with regulatory guidelines for specimen transportation and identification.
- Process specimens and apply barcode labels correctly.
- Perform venipunctures, finger sticks, heel sticks, and assist physicians with bone marrow collection, point-of-care glucose, and iSTAT testing.
- Answer phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with Pathology and NMHS employees as part of a team.
- Report point-of-care testing results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform point-of-care quality control accurately.
- Document all necessary information on patient specimen tubes/containers and in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Assist with maintaining inventory related to specimen processing.
- Adhere to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines and comply with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guidelines/regulations/laws/statutes.
- Utilize proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
