Lead Dialysis Nurse Opportunity at SSM Health

SSM Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our dialysis team in the St. Louis area. As a Dialysis Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, implementing clinical objectives, and ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors dialysis nursing and supports staffing during assigned shift.
  • Assesses daily dialysis patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for the dialysis patient.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of dialysis treatments and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities to include collection of data for the dialysis unit's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan and maintains ownership of regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Minimum one year of registered nurse dialysis experience.
