Endoscopy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Weirton Medical Center. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our endoscopic procedures.

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
• Monitor patients during endoscopic procedures and provide support as needed.
• Assist in the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopic equipment and the endoscopy suite.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program, nurse aid program, or medical assistant program.
• Current certification in CPR.
• One year experience working in an OR or endoscopic setting preferred, but not required.
