Orthodontic Assistant

As an Orthodontic Assistant at TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and successful running of our clinic. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of exceptional customer service, maintaining equipment, and supporting the Orthodontist in various procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining patient flow and ensuring a smooth appointment process
- Prepare teeth for bonding of braces and Invisalign attachments
- Monitor oral hygiene and instruct patients on correct brushing techniques
- Deliver instruments to sterilization and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Take X-rays, CBCT scans, and impressions as needed
- Chart notes and schedule appointments
- Represent the practice in a positive and professional manner
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (orthodontics preferred)
- Self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Great understanding of dental terminology
- Ability to work well with patients and team members
- Experience in delivering high-level customer service
