Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LVN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LVN to provide high-quality care to our patients in Gainesville, TX.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse LVN. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed by our patients' physicians.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on patient care and health promotion
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on patient problems, concerns, and changes in patient condition
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
