Anesthesiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

As an Anesthesiology Specialist, you will work closely with our anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care from preoperative assessment to postoperative recovery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing preoperative assessments of patient status and ordering preoperative medication under supervision
• Administering drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia, inserting arterial and venous catheters, and monitoring patients during anesthesia
• Frequently collaborating with the Code 88 team for resuscitation efforts

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligible/certified credentials
• A minimum requirement of current ACLS certification
• Maintains CEU status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification
• APN certification, or pending application as required

You will work part-time, supervising anesthesia trainees and performing duties following established procedures while reporting to your immediate supervisor.
