Job Summary
  • We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
  • You will assist in developing and implementing a daily custodial schedule, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • You will work closely with staff members to address their custodial and maintenance needs.
  • You will secure all outside doors and windows daily, and turn off lights upon exiting premises.
  • You will raise and lower both American and Salvation Army flags during weekdays.
  • You will maintain supply and equipment inventory, advising Corps Officers on necessary purchases.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines to meet.

Requirements
  • A high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
  • A valid California Class C Driver's License, with the ability to obtain a Class B license within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate various equipment.
