About the OpportunityThis is a full-time position, 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a dependable schedule that offers work-life balance and provides comprehensive health assessments for employees including physical exams, health histories, and screenings.
The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents, and management of work-related injuries and illnesses for employees. They will also offer guidance and education to employees on injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness.
The attractive compensation package includes annual time off, relocation allowance, paid malpractice, retirement plans, fitness center, and more. The temperate climate allows for outdoor activities to be enjoyed year round, and easy access to the states major metro areas, Atlantic coast, and Appalachian Mountains.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for employees
- Provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents
- Manage work-related injuries and illnesses for employees
- Offer guidance and education to employees on injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness
- Graduation from an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and possession of NCCPA certification (for PAs)
- Graduation from a nurse practitioner education program and national certification (for NPs)
- Preferred experience: Familiarity with NC Workers Compensation law and OSHA
- Must possess a clean background and be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina
- Travel to local employer worksites required
