About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend technologies, specifically React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices. A strong attention to detail, passion for creating polished user interfaces, and pride in writing clean, maintainable code are essential qualities for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and build sophisticated React applications that handle complex healthcare workflows while maintaining simplicity for end users.
  • Drive frontend architecture decisions and establish best practices for our growing engineering team.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to our frontend development standards.
Requirements
  • A 4-year degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating polished user interfaces.
  • Pride in writing clean, maintainable code and building scalable frontend architectures.
  • Based in the SF Bay Area and ready for twice-weekly in-person collaboration.
Bonus Requirements
  • Experience optimizing build systems, development workflows, and creating developer tooling.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with healthcare applications or HIPAA compliance.
  • Previous experience at an early-stage startup.
