Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care services, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement patient care services, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new technologies.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse.
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service.
- Certification in specialty or efforts to achieve certification.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
