Job Summary

As a Pediatric Neurologist at CAMC Health System, you will provide high-quality diagnostic and surgical services to patients in the field of Neurology Medicine. Your expertise will be essential in delivering exceptional care to our patients, adhering to the highest standards of medical art and science.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients in compliance with the highest standards of medical practice, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with the medical director/CMO to address clinical practice issues and with the clinic/departmental administrator on administrative matters.
  • Maintain active status with regards to clinical privileges at CAMC.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, staff, corporate management, medical staff, and co-workers, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care for patients. Specifically, they must demonstrate competency in:

  • Obtaining and interpreting patient information.
  • Understanding growth and development.
  • Providing a range of treatment options.
Common Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide positive customer service and co-worker interactions.
  • Comply with the company's attendance policy.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Perform work in a cost-effective manner.
  • Follow departmental pay practices and scheduling policies.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Education and Credentials
  • Medical Degree (Required) and completion of appropriate fellowship.
  • Unrestricted West Virginia Medical License.
  • DEA certificate.

Varies. Full-time, regular position. Located at WCH-MSOB, Charleston, WV.
