Position Summary

The Automotive Technician position requires a skilled and experienced professional to diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems, while also providing leadership and mentoring to a team of technicians. This role involves working with a variety of vehicles and systems, and requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

As an Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality products. You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including oil changes, transmission fluid and filter replacements, battery installations, and tire maintenance. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field, and to provide training and guidance to junior technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems
  • Install batteries and perform electrical system checks
  • Perform tire maintenance and repair
  • Install parts and accessories
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior technicians
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field
