Job Title: Yoga Instructor

Canyon Ridge Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Yoga Instructor to join our team.

About the Role:

The Yoga Instructor will be responsible for teaching patients the practice of yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. This role will support patients in connecting with their mind, body, and soul, promoting a positive relationship with their body and reducing stress and anxiety.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach yoga classes to patients of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement individualized yoga plans to meet the needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education on the benefits of yoga and mindfulness for mental health
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on yoga and mindfulness techniques

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. activity therapy, humanities, social work)
  • 2+ years of experience as a yoga instructor
  • Preferred certification by the State of California
  • Liability insurance
