We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Genesis HealthCare. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing treatments as ordered by physicians. You will also be responsible for evaluating patients, collecting data, and reporting changes in condition to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
