We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

  • Answer patient calls promptly and assess their needs to provide timely support.

  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the restroom, promoting independence and dignity.

  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers and maintain mobility.

  • Review dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure patients receive appropriate nutrition.

  • Obtain vital information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses to inform care decisions.

  • Record food and liquid intake, urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical staff.

  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate, as requested by staff.

  • Monitor patients for potential issues, such as open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine, and report concerns to medical staff.

**Requirements:**

  • Certification as a nursing assistant and good standing with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

  • Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holidays.

  • Strong skills in effectively caring for residents in a calm, respectful, and patient manner.
