We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northwestern Healthcare Center. As a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of our residents through therapy.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly growing company with 170 centers across the country. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy programs. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
- Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and education of treatment staff
- Provide necessary supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of the rehab team
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License.
