Role SummaryThe Senior Product Manager, Charging Infrastructure will play a critical role in shaping Rivian's charging network and product offerings. This position will focus on developing and implementing solutions for managing and growing our charging infrastructure, including hardware and software touchpoints. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to inform and achieve customer and business strategies.
Responsibilities- Customer-Centric Approach: Document customer journeys, conduct user research, and gather user feedback to inform product requirements for our asset management platform.
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as the voice of the customer, closely collaborating with internal stakeholders to build user features and ensure seamless product development.
- Product Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate with Product Managers to develop product requirements that align with Rivian's product roadmap, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall strategy.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including hardware, engineering, and program teams, to develop and document product requirements and specifications.
- Project Execution: Manage project execution and rollout strategy for all charging products, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Software Development: Support systems design, development, user acceptance testing, release, and continuous improvement for charging software initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to inform product decisions and priorities that align with company goals and objectives.
- Product Management Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record of success.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with EV charging operations protocols (OCPP, OCPI, ISO, or distributed connected devices (IoT)).
- Agile Methodologies: Experience delivering software using agile processes and tools, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Technical Skills: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and/or other project management and documentation tools.
- Customer Focus: A customer-first approach, with a relentless passion to improve the charging experience through great usable and scalable solutions.
- Resourcefulness and Proactivity: Highly resourceful and proactive, with a comfort working in an environment of ambiguity.
- Matrixed Organization Experience: Strong track record of succeeding in matrixed organizations and collaborating with stakeholders from multiple domains.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Background: Background in a technical field, operations, and/or hyper-growth companies a plus.
