Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care based on the latest evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer medications safely and efficiently using the latest technology.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic documentation systems.
  • Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • 1 year of experience in an ICU, step-down unit, or Emergency room preferred.
  • Vent mgmt, Telemetry, ICU competency, Titratable drugs, and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
  • National Certification in area of specialty or required within 1 year of hire.
