We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our CVICU team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care, prioritizing their needs and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive measures to prevent them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
- At least 1 year of experience as a RN in an acute care environment.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- BSN degree preferred; CCRN certification a plus but must be obtained within 2 years.
- NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
