Job Title: Farm Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Farm Technician to join our team at Trinity Farms. As a Farm Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our farm animals, including milking goats, administering vaccinations, and general barn and field maintenance. You will also be involved in preparing gardens for the Fall and Spring planting seasons.

Responsibilities:

- Completing daily animal wellness checks and recording results
- Feeding, haying, and cleaning water troughs
- Maintaining clean barns, pens, and fencing
- Administering vaccinations and supplements
- Milking goats and using extreme hygiene techniques in filtering and storing the milk
- Learning re-Generative grazing techniques on the grazing land
- Seeding and planting cover crops for the animals to eat, gardening, weeding, and applying organic supplements to the soil and plants for the humans

Requirements:

- Previous experience in farming, gardening, or a related field is a plus
- Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of agricultural practices, plant care, and landscaping techniques are a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills to interact effectively with others
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work
