This position involves utilizing cutting-edge technology and advanced surgical methods to address complex medical cases. The surgical team is engaged in procedures aimed at treating various conditions affecting the heart, vascular system, lungs, and chest, including:
  • Coronary artery bypass grafting
  • Management of coronary artery disease
  • Treatment of peripheral vascular disorders
  • Oncology surgeries related to lung cancer
  • Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
This role is complemented by a dedicated advanced practice provider who will assist with both clinic and postoperative care management. The cardiovascular program is further enhanced by a skilled operating room team, which includes a first assistant for vein harvesting, two full-time perfusionists, and TEE certified cardiac anesthesiologists. Additionally, the program collaborates closely with a robust Heart & Vascular team, consisting of three full-time interventional cardiologists, two general cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, and five advanced practice providers.
This opportunity is ideal for a surgeon seeking to contribute to and expand an already established program.
