We are seeking a highly qualified Heavy Truck Driver I to join our team at the City of San Diego. As a Heavy Truck Driver I, you will be responsible for driving heavy trucks and vehicles, performing pre-trip inspections, keeping mileage and service records, assisting in loading and unloading trucks, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A valid California Class A or B Driver License AND a valid California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) medical certificate dated within the last two years are required at the time of application;
- Meet the minimum age requirements for this job (18 years old or older);
- Be able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
