Paramedic Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Medstar Ambulance Michigan. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to our communities in Southeast Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Operate medical equipment and administer medications as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • State of Michigan Paramedic License
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Physically able to perform the functions of the job (physical agility and lifting)
  • American Heart Association CPR card and ACLS Certification
