Sandblasting Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sandblasting Technician to join our team at Monarch Technical Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and finishing by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants using sandblasting techniques.

This role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the specific requirements for each project.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform frame carpentry and trim carpentry as needed during projects.
• Execute concrete finishing tasks when required, ensuring high-quality results.
• Apply caulking and perform construction painting as part of the finishing process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sandblasting or related fields such as residential painting or remodeling.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of construction site operations.
• Familiarity with frame carpency, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, and construction painting techniques is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, especially on Saturdays.

• A competitive salary range of $19.00 - $21.00 per hour.
