Job Summary:

Clover Park School District is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to provide occupational therapy services that promote student independence and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Implement occupational therapy interventions in a variety of settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and community-based locations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that occupational therapy services are meeting the needs of each student.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Washington State certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:

The Occupational Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and community-based locations. The position requires the ability to lift and move equipment and supplies, as well as to stand and walk for extended periods.
