The Shepherd University Student Emp Institute for Environ Studies is a leading institution in environmental studies, and we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Greenhouse Horticulture Assistant. Our team is dedicated to providing students with hands-on experience in greenhouse management, plant cultivation, and sustainable practices.

Job Description
This role will involve working in the greenhouses on campus, assisting in the planning, preparation, growing, and selling of plants for the annual Tabler Farm plant sale and production at the farm. You may also be required to work at the greenhouses at the farm during certain times of the year when plants are being moved from the campus greenhouses to the farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and preparation of plants for sale and production.
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace in the greenhouses.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong passion for working with plants and a commitment to sustainability. We require Federal Work Study Eligible Students who are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Shepherd University and are degree-seeking students. Preferred qualifications include experience working with plants and/or the outdoors.

Estimated Salary: $10.00 per hour
