Polaris Industries Inc is seeking a highly skilled Boat Inspector to join our team. As a Boat Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting boats to ensure they meet the quality standards of our company.

• Inspect boats to identify any defects or issues
• Document defects and re-check when fixed
• Sign off on every boat that is released to the dealer
• Communicate quality discrepancies to repairmen and Group Leaders
• Operate equipment to ensure all functional parts are working
• Use and read a tape measure down to 1/32"
• Read and follow inspection guidelines
• Read pressure gauge
• Have good/legible handwriting

• Ability to work indoors, in tight spaces, and without air conditioning
• Exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to use a ladder and climb in and out of boats
• Must be able to lift and handle up to 25 pounds
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to climb stairs, climb in and out of boats, kneel and bend down to floor level for 8 hours

• Knowledge of all manufactured boats
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills

The Boat Inspector will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
