Salary Range: $38,000-$43,000
Job Overview: The Assistant Athletic Trainer plays a crucial role in supporting the athletic programs at Columbia College. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing medical coverage for varsity sports events.
- Implementing injury prevention strategies, conducting evaluations, and overseeing treatment and rehabilitation processes.
- Accompanying team physicians during medical appointments.
- Supervising student assistants and other support staff.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and liaising with athletic departments.
- Ensuring adherence to NAIA regulations.
- Engaging in additional summer projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Master's Degree.
- NATABOC certification is required.
- Eligibility for MO licensure.
- 1-3 years of experience in an athletic department is preferred.
