Job Overview

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of our production team. As a Production Team Lead on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of your team, driving productivity, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate and requisition materials to meet production goals, inspecting work to ensure specifications are met
  • Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations, educating team members on best practices
  • Assign tasks and duties based on job orders, drawings, and specifications, promoting efficient workflows
  • Develop and implement improved production methods, tools, and equipment maintenance to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, collaborating with the purchasing department as needed
  • Lead by example, demonstrating Lean methodologies to improve production processes and product quality
  • Meet production quotas while upholding quality standards, driving continuous improvement
  • Train new employees on job responsibilities and company procedures, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to 5S standards, promoting a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 18 months of on-the-job experience or relevant training
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external partners
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills to calculate quantities and perform simple arithmetic operations
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,439, based on a $23.59 hourly wage. Additional benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k, 10 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and more.
