About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in accordance with ACR, State Regulations, and departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Perform duties of an ARRT Technologist as required, in addition to performing MRI duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Radiation Sciences required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the related field preferred.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist required.
  • Specialty registration in MR and/or CT (within one year of employment) required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
