The Delaware Schools Consortium invites applications for the position of High School English Language Arts Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. We seek a passionate and experienced teacher who can provide high-quality instruction, create engaging lesson plans, and foster a supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth and achievement.

As a High School English Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering rigorous lesson plans aligned with state standards and tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies, assess student progress regularly, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong academic record, including a Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university and teaching certification in World Language - French and/or Spanish (strongly preferred). Experience improving student achievement at an urban school (preferred) is also desirable. In addition, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
