Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Professional to join our team at Clean Harbors. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

• Manage and track the entire process of waste generation, storage, and disposal, including pick-up, classification, and labeling.
• Coordinate activities with waste generators, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare specimen samples for testing, including packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping.
• Assist with responding to hazardous material releases and containment and clean-up of spilled materials.
• Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation services.

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Work with a safety-first mindset
• Be able to work outside, exposed to the elements, including during inclement weather

• Valid Driver's license
• Previous relevant labor experience
• BS in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science preferred
• Working knowledge of US environmental regulations
