Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dietary Clerk to support the effective operations of our Food Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient/resident menus, maintaining logs and files, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain patient/resident menus to ensure accuracy and timeliness of meal service
  • Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, typing, and word processing of reports and memos
  • Assist with the production of meal tickets, nourishment labels, and production tallies
  • Provide receptionist services and respond to interdepartmental telephone inquiries
  • Maintain office equipment and supply inventory
  • Fulfill duties as a Food Service Worker as needed, including set-up, food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness of area and equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 months of clerical or related work experience
  • Ability to operate computer, photocopier, and other office equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external contacts
