Healthcare Network Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatologist to lead our Infusion Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical care for patients, supervising staff, and ensuring timely access to infusion services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient care, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other specialists to enhance clinical excellence.
- Supervise Staff: Oversee the practices of infusion nurses, prior authorization specialists, and billing staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure Timely Access: Work with payors to ensure timely payment and access to infusion services.
- Manage Patient Panel: Carry a small panel of patients requiring rheumatological care.
Requirements:
- Education and Training: Minimum of 3-5 years as a practicing provider with an unrestricted medical license.
- Licenses and Certifications: State of Florida Medical License, Board Certification, and CPR/AED certification.
- Communication Skills: Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Creole), effective communication with vendors, employees, and patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in MS systems (Office 365) and EMR systems (Athena One, Athena Practice, Epic, WeInfuse).
