Gresham Smith is seeking an experienced Aviation Architect to join our team in the Aviation Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport facilities that exceed our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Design Development: Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects, including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
- Project Coordination: Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents. Develop, modify, and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
- Research and Development: Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project.
- Project Administration: Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
- Construction Review: Review construction submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
- Client Solutions: Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience in aviation or commercial architecture.
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university or a 4-year degree with a Master of Architecture.
- Licenses and Certifications: Licensed with Aviation design experience required.
- Software Skills: Demonstrated experience using REVIT, Sketchup, Enscape, Lumion, and Photoshop software.
