Job Summary

Lone Star Instrumentation & Electric Corporation is seeking a skilled Journeyman Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Work at heights greater than ten feet, climbing ladders, poles, and towers as required.
  • Operate boom, bucket trucks, and other heavy equipment.
  • Perform line switching or sectionalizing as directed.
  • Inspect lines, poles, and equipment for signs of damage or wear and report deficiencies.
  • Assist in on-the-job training of apprentices and other crew members.
Requirements
  • Journeyman License
  • Valid CDL
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Prefer 1 year's experience
  • Open availability and willingness to travel
