Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team at Chambersburg Hospital (BU). This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while operating advanced MRI equipment.

Certification Requirements
  • All travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Exemptions for medical or religious reasons must be approved by the agency.
Job Details
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 1:30 AM - No weekends or on-call duties.
  • Participation in holiday rotation is required.
  • After a brief orientation, the technologist will primarily work evening shifts with occasional weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Experience with Toshiba (Canon) Titan 1.5T MRI Unit is preferred.
  • Potential care for COVID-19 patients.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records is necessary.
Qualifications
  • Preferred candidates should be graduates of an accredited AMA program and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Must hold a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.
  • State License as a general radiographer is required.
  • Responsibilities include adjusting imaging parameters for various studies, including soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
Schedule Information
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 1:30 AM - No weekends or on-call duties.
  • 3x12 or 4x10 shifts are not available.
  • Evening shifts will follow a brief orientation, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
Additional Information
  • This is a nicotine-free facility.
  • Candidates with a history of license suspension will not be considered.
  • All time-off requests must be included in the submission.
  • Candidates previously employed as permanent hires at any WellSpan site within the past year cannot be considered.
  • Flu vaccination is required from September 7 to April 30.
