Job Title: On-Site Supervisor/HVAC Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Supervisor/HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Tad PGS in Rutland, VT. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise technical operations and maintenance of facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and plumbing.
  • Supervise and train technical staff, including scheduling and assigning duties.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, employees, and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, security requirements, and government regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Respond to emergencies and perform repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
  • Document all building inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular updates to management on contract performance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum five (5) years of recent experience in directing the operation and maintenance of equipment in a supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum six (6) years of hands-on commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration certification required.
  • NATE HVAC certification required.
