Automotive Technician

UPS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control.
- Work with a variety of propulsion systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative technology power plants.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
- Full complement of personal hand tools.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, and overtime as needed.
- Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
