Job Summary

UPS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control.
  • Work with a variety of propulsion systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative technology power plants.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Full complement of personal hand tools.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, and overtime as needed.
  • Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
