We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing corporate accounting responsibilities while maintaining financial information and related reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate application of revenue recognition policies in line with ASC 606 guidelines
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform thorough reconciliations of company financial data, investigate variances, and make adjustments as necessary
- Enter, review, and/or approve financial transactions in the company's financial system, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support internal auditors by preparing schedules and work papers as required
- Monitor adherence to company financial policies and GAAP standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless financial and tax audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue recognition
- At least 5 years of experience working with ERP software, such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Preferred experience with ASC 606
- Demonstrated ability to prepare complete sets of financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and VLookups
- Ability to analyze and present complex financial data
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid model, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week
Compensation Package:
$108,000 - $125,000 per annum, reflecting industry standards and location factors
