Job Summary:
GFL Environmental seeks a skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our diesel fleet.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match. You will also receive paid time off, holidays, and an employee assistance program.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Diesel Fleet Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections on our fleet of vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field.
  • A valid CDL license (Class A or B).
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
