Job Summary

Southwestern Motor Transport is seeking experienced Class-A CDL drivers for local truck driving positions. As a local driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on company vehicles to ensure safe operation.
  • Deliver products to customers on a daily basis.
  • Establish and maintain contact with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management to ensure compliance with all DOT Safety Regulations.
Requirements
  • Class-A CDL license
  • 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
  • 22+ years of age
  • Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days
  • No tolerance for substance abuse or involvement in major preventable accidents
  • No more than 2 MVR infractions/violations within the last 3 years
