We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy equipment, collaborating with radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans, and supervising staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Perform calibration, maintenance, and quality control testing on radiation oncology equipment to ensure compliance with state, federal, and JCAHO regulations.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans, verify prescription calculations, and notify physicians of any discrepancies.
• Review, revise, and write policies and procedures related to radiation safety, quality control, and environmental and infection control.
• Provide in-service training and continuing education to staff on radiation safety and new techniques or procedures.
• Supervise all aspects of brachytherapy and serve as the facility Radiation Safety Officer.

• PhD or Master's Degree in Medical Physics or DMP Degree required.
• Board eligible by Therapeutic Medical Physics required.
• Licensure in the state of practice required.
• Five years of experience in Medical Physics preferred.
