Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team at GlobalFoundries Inc. as a key member of our Industrial Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing fab Capital spending, capacity, and support Manufacturing Operations & Advanced Module Engineering to ultimately optimize and drive factory spending, output, and reduce cycle time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Integration, to drive Capital spending to targets and optimize factory output.
  • Lead executive-level discussions and meetings to determine and drive Capital spending to targets.
  • Calculate and summarize financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Create, optimize, and share standardized Capital-related processes and analysis to drive business efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams around the globe to drive business results.
  • Understand and utilize Capacity Planning System and methods to calculate fab capacity.
  • Update and run the capacity model for both ramp plans and new product analyses.
  • Analyze capacity output and make recommendations on fab tooling purchases, retrofits, or transfers.
  • Support various departments in improving factory output using advanced analytics.
  • Train lower-level employees on processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or a related field of study.
  • 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience as an Industrial Engineer or related role.
  • Experience working for a high-volume manufacturing company.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Knowledge of Factory Physics and Principles.
  • Knowledge of Capacity Planning.
  • Ability to summarize data, prepare reports, and present to internal and executive-level management.

Salary Range:

$94,920–$115,000.
