Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and efficient care to patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to evidence-based practice
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
- Associate's degree in nursing or diploma in nursing
- 0-1 year of RN experience, with successful completion of new grad orientation or RN refresher course for acute care nurses
- National certification in clinical specialty as eligible
- BSN degree
